During the exhibition opening, the original works that were developed during the project will be presented.
The project has been carried out as part of the cooperation between the University of Lodz Library and the Institute of German Philology of the University of Lodz. As part of the project, 400 old prints from the second half of the 17th century were processed in the Central Catalogue of Polish Scientific Libraries (NUKAT) and in the Electronic Catalogue of the University of Lodz Library (SYMPHONY), and the most valuable of them were subjected to conservation, digitised and made available in the Digital Library of the University of Lodz.
The project was managed and coordinated by Dorota Bartnik, supported by Dr Monika Sulejewicz-Nowicka. The partners of the University of Lodz Library from the Institute of German Studies were Dr hab. Małgorzata Kubisiak, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz and Dr Tomasz Ososiński, authors of the exhibition scenario and texts for the exhibition boards.
The exhibition can be viewed on the ground floor of the University of Lodz Library building (Matejki 32/38) during the library opening hours.
