Web of Science AI Research Assistant
The assistant helps users understand and structure a research topic, identify trends and research gaps. It also supports literature review and synthesis, as well as journal selection for publication.
WoS AI Research Assistant offers:
- the complete historical dataset of the Web of Science Core Collection, covering more than 120 years;
- multilingual searching, including searches in Polish;
- contextual suggestions that help refine and develop searches;
- visualisations of relationships within the literature, including article co-citation maps.

The AI tool will be available to the University of Lodz research community from 1 to 31 October 2026.
To get started:
- Log in to Web of Science (via the e-resources tab on the University of Lodz Library website).
- Select the Research Assistant tab or the Get started with Research Assistant field.
- Enter any question.
