Legimi
The Legimi platform offers access to fiction and popular‑science publications, including the latest publishing releases. The service supports people with special needs – e‑books, audiobooks and synchrobooks can be read and listened to on various devices (smartphones, tablets, e‑book readers and computers).
- Users registered with the University of Lodz Library may receive a 30‑day Legimi access code. All you need to do is send a request for a code to legimi@lib.uni.lodz.pl.
- One Legimi code can be used on two devices. A new pool of codes becomes available on the first day of each month.

E‑book readers
- The University of Lodz Library offers two types of e‑book readers for loan: inkBook Calypso Plus and Era Color, both compatible with Legimi.
- E‑readers can be borrowed via the main Library catalogue, in the same way as traditional books – simply enter the keyword “czytnik” (e-book reader).
- The rules governing the loan of e‑book readers are set out in the relevant Library regulations.
